This large focal bead is an oval with a larger hole running lengthwise.  It measures 1 1/2 inches long by 3/4 across at the widest point. The bead itself is made of layers of custom blended pearlized clays in shades of copen blue and seafoam green.  The beads are hand-formed, then a precision bead roller is used blend and create the swirls in the pattern.  Once this is done, the bead is pierced and baked.  The finishing steps include tumbling, sanding, buffing and a final finish with a sealer that protects and enhances the beauty of beads.
