Meet This Month's Featured Artist

Hello!


My name is Cindie Bresnahan of Wisteria Waterfalls Studio, but you may know me by my Justbeads Id, which is "Cindiebres”.

I live in Bristol, Connecticut with my husband Bill, our two daughters Danielle and Katrina and our many furry companions.

All of my life arts/crafts have been my passion.   Besides creating lampwork beads, I also draw, paint, sculpt, scrapbook and create jewelry.

I have always been fascinated watching hand blown glass being created.   Every time I would see an artist working with molten glass, I knew that was one of the few art forms that I really wanted to try in my lifetime.

A few years ago, while watching an artist create lampwork beads on the television show "Crafters Coast to Coast", I hurriedly taped the program to show my husband.   That evening, after he viewed the segment with me, I jokingly told him that I would be just as happy with a little torch as I would be with a big glass furnace.   Much to my surprise, (and delight), he went on the internet and booked a beginner class for me the following weekend.   I have been happily torching ever since!   I find melting glass very meditative and relaxing and have been lucky enough to be doing it professionally for close to two years.
